New Testing for Mearles-Irlen Syndrome

We are pleased to announce that we are now testing for Meares-Irlen Syndrome.

Research suggests that up to 20% of the population experience discomfort when viewing certain patterns (including text). This condition is known as Meares-Irlen Syndrome or Visual Stress.

Symptoms include:

Words appearing to move, wobble or flicker on the page (or screen)
Words appearing too close together
Pages appearing too bright or dazzling
Eye strain
Headaches from reading or computer work

Many of these people can be helped with coloured overlays or tinted lenses.
